Rise to Golfing Greatness
McIlroy turned professional in 2007 and quickly made a name for himself in the golfing world. He won his first major tournament, the 2010 PGA Championship, at the age of 21, becoming the youngest player to win a major since Tiger Woods. Since then, McIlroy has won numerous tournaments, including four major championships: the 2011 U.S. Open, 2012 PGA Championship, 2014 Open Championship, and 2014 PGA Championship.
